Hi, Mike Griffin here with another juicing tip.

Orange juice is the first juice that people think of when a cold comes on. Dr Linus Pauling popularized the idea of vitamin C being a great natural cold fighter and it is true. Orange juice is a great source of vitamin C but it does not provide the level of vitamin C that Pauling suggested which is several grams. However orange juice is a good way to go. Orange juice that you make yourself of course. Remember purchased juice has been pasteurized which means all of the healthful enzymes and a lot of the nutrition has been destroyed by the heat of pasteurization. When you juice oranges be sure to peel them but leave the white pith intact, it has amazing benefits.

Now for a juice you wouldn't have thought of,

A cure for the common cold.

Antibiotic: 3 to 4 radishes, Handful of radish sprouts, 1/4 beetroot, 1/4 red or green pepper, 1 parsnip and 1/2 cucumber.

Just drop them into your juicer and let it rip
